Introduction
Ravensclough Holiday Cottage is a recently refurbished self catering cottage nestled in woodland on the edge of Delamere Forest and is an ideal spot for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and all who enjoy the outdoors. Please find details of the provision of accessible facilities in the information provided below.
Pre-Arrival
• Bookings and enquiries can be made via email, the website or by phone.
• There is a train station and a bus stop about 1 mile from the cottage. The trains run hourly between Manchester and Chester and the bus service is to Northwich and Chester. Timetables of these services can be found in the cottage.
• The nearest town is Northwich which is a 15 min drive from the cottage and can also be reached by bus or train.
• We can arrange for shopping/provisions to be delivered on arrival.
• There are 3 RADAR toilets in Northwich: Applemarket Street, Leicester Street and 'Penny Black' Witton Street [trading hours only]
• Ravensclough Holiday Cottage is only suitable for guests with mobility impairment/visual/hearing impairment who are accompanied [to ensure the safety of the guest]
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• There is parking available for 2 cars at the front of the cottage on a gravel surface.
• Guests will be met by the concierge who will provide you with the keys to the cottage and answer any questions you might have regarding instructions, directions to local ammenities etc and provide guests with a familiarisation tour.
• A dog bowl is provided.
• The route from the car park to the front entrance is on gravel and there are 3 steps leading up to the front door and there is an external light. The rear entrance can be accessed by a flagged pathway.

• A familiarisation tour is offered by the concierge.
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• There are varnished floorboards in the living room, bedrooms, bathroom and landing. The stairs are carpeted. There is a handrail on the stairway. The entrance, pantry and the dining room have quarry tiles and the kitchen floor is lino. There are rugs and mats in all rooms.
• Assistance dogs can go anywhere in the property, other pet dogs are restricted to the ground floor area. The garden is fenced to aid dog safety. Pet owners are asked to toilet pets off the premises.

• Lighting is operated by dimmer switch.

• The bathroom is located on the first floor.
• There are shelves, a towel rail and door hooks provided.
